Steve holds real estate broker licenses in multiple states.  He grew up in southeastern Montana near Powderville, MT on the LO Ranch which consisted of 180,000 acres when his great grandfather acquired it in the 1930's.   Growing up there weren't many roads on the ranch suitable for a horse trailer, so most cattle work often included a lengthy ride to the work and home again.  Background includes  farm/ranch management, guiding,  horse training/sales,  property development, real estate auctions, construction, and heavy equipment operation.  Previous work experiences include 6 years as a traveling professional horse trainer, hunting guide, manager of a 100,000+ acre, 5000 head cattle ranch, and multiple construction and development projects.  Steve graduated with honors from Montana State University with a double emphasis in Pre-Med/Law.   Steve is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Montana Association of Realtors, Billings MLS, and holds Series 22 and 63 securities registrations.   Contact Steve at:  406-580-4207

Joe Duval-Sales Associate

A graduate of Montana State University in Business Marketing, Joe is also the owner of the Montana Real Estate Television Show.  Joe brings practical marketing and advertising experience with his involvement in television, advertising sales, traditional and technology marketing.  Originally from Rutland, Vermont he has always had a love for the mountains.  Hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, biking, hiking, skiing.  Joe's outgoing, friendly personality makes him a true pleasure to work with.  He currently resides in Bozeman.  Contact Joe at 406-570-7837

Jeanie Kalotay-Sales Associate

Jeanie grew up in a ranching family in Eastern Montana.  She received her Bachelors Degree in  Education from MSU-Billings and a Masters Degree in Education Technology from Seattle University.  After 12 years of teaching in Portland, OR she returned to Montana and began her real estate career.  She is a member of National Assoc. of Realtors, Montana Assoc. of Realtors, and the Billings MLS.  Contact Jeanie at 406-697-8425.

Chris Mason-Sales Associate

A native of Oregon, Chris has lived in mountain and ranching communities throughout the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Northwest for over thirty years. Holding a Bachelors Degree in International Affairs from Lewis and Clark College, followed by post-graduate study at the School of Advanced International Studies-The Johns Hopkins University, he worked in international business prior to trading in his pin stripes for a fishing vest in 1994.  Currently he can be found guiding fishermen on a wide variety of western waters.   A private ski instructor, during the winter months he travels extensively with his clients to major ski resorts from Montana to Colorado.  A third generation member of an Oregon ranching family, Chris is the General Manager of Mason Wind Farms LLC, a pioneer in the development of commercial wind energy by private ranch owners in Oregon.  When not wading rivers, skiing powder slopes or seeking out unique ranch properties for his clients he follows his passion of starting and teaching horses.   Chris's extensive travels and experience provide an excellent base of knowledge he draws on while analyzing fishing and sporting properties. Merritt G. Pride-Sales Associate 

A licensed outfitter since 1978, Merritt was a contributing writer in "Elk Hunting with the Experts" published in 1992 by Bob Robb which included contributions by Jim Zumbo, Craig Boddington, & Jack Atcheson, Sr.  His guided hunting and fishing trips have appeared in Outdoor Life, Petersens Bow Hunting, Fly Fisherman, and FlyFishing Magazine.  Other distinctions include; Director and Vice President of the Montana Outfitters and Guides Association,  District 3 Rep to the Montana Board of Outfitters, and Chairman to the Outfitter Advisory Board for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Montana Delegate to the Outfitter Advisory Board for the Foundation for North American Wi1d Sheep.  His knowledge of wildlife, hunting, fishing, agriculture, and his eye for sporting properties makes him a valuable member of our team.  Merritt has a Masters degree in Animal Science from Montana State University.  Contact Merritt at 406-684-5191

Paul Oakland-Sales Associate

Jim Wankel-Associate Broker

Jim was born and raised in Plentywood , Montana.  He has been selling real estate since 1972 and has been putting together real estate deals consistently across the West since that time.  Jim attended MSU- Bozeman and graduated from the University of Montana with a Degree in Accounting and an emphasis on business finance.   Jim has owned and operated multiple ranches from Browning to Alzada and Jordan to Helmsville.  Jim brings practical ranch and real estate experience to the table.  Contact Jim at 406-781-9314.
